LSAT Prep with us - We have been preparing aspiring law students for the law school admissions test since we were founded in 1999. The company was founded with the goal of providing aspiring law students with affordable, yet effective LSAT prep. In 1999 test takers had two choices for their preparation. They could either pay a lot of money to take a live class or personal tutoring, or they could pay very little money and use self-preparation books-unfortunately most of those books were of very poor quality. Seeing this wide gap in the marketplace, Patrick O'Malley, at the time a law student at the University of Colorado, began offering affordable LSAT prep tutoring to undergraduate students on the main campus and other regional campuses. This reasonably-priced tutoring proved popular, and soon students were signing up to take the new intensive review classes. From that humble beginning the company quickly grew. Within 18 months Get Prepped offered LSAT prep classes and tutoring in over 40 cities nationwide. In addition to publishing several self-prep books the company was an early adopter of internet capabilities and today offers all of the live programs online as well as in live settings.
LSAT courses overview - Here's a rundown on the LSAT courses we offer. Tutoring - Our private tutoring option is designed for students who want the ultimate in customized preparation. Students choose tutoring for several reasons. Some choose it for the flexible, by appointment scheduling. Others choose because they only want to focus on specific parts of the test. Students also like that our tutoring often costs less than most companies charge for their LSAT courses, so our students get personal attention, and save money. Live classes - Live classes come in two formats, the 2 and 3 weekend classes for students looking for comprehensive instruction, like that found in a 'traditional' class and the 1 weekend class for students looking for an intensive review to put the finishing touches on their self-study efforts. Online classes - All of our live classes can also be taken online, with the added advantages of ultimate scheduling flexibility and a much lower cost. If students taking our online LSAT courses want one on one attention, they have the option of also purchasing just a few hours of personal tutoring at a reasonable price. This allows for ultimate personalization of your LSAT preparation experience.
What's the Best LSAT for me? - The most common question prospective students ask us is, "What is your best LSAT class?" Our answer is always, "It depends." There are several factors to consider when deciding what is the best LSAT prep option is best for you. These factors include your: budget, schedule restrictions, personal learning style, desire for curriculum and schedule structure, desire for personal attention, need to focus on specific subject areas. Certainly, we all have budgets to keep, but not to worry, just because you don't have a big budget that doesn't mean you can't get well prepared. What it does mean is that more of the responsibility will be with you to stay on focus and on task. If your schedule or budget doesn't allow you to take one of our live classes, then you will want to consider an online class, or if your budget allows, our personal tutoring. If your primary need is structure, then you will do better with a live class. If you want personal attention, then personal tutoring or a live class will be better than an online video course. If you want to focus on just one subject area of the test, then personal tutoring is definitely your best LSAT preparation option.
