Conservation of resources

Our administrative offices are located in beautiful Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. We love Colorado's clear skies and crystal steams and want to keep them that way for our children and grandchildren.

Because our business is "internet-centric", we are well-positioned to minimize waste and unnecessary paperwork.

• Enrollments, confirmations, and payments are done via Internet or telephone.
  
  
• Teacher recruitment is entirely digital, eliminating all the paper and disposable ink cartridges applicants would otherwise use to print and mail their resumes and cover letters.
  
  
• Our e-classroom, which contains our excellent guided self-study materials, delivers content on-line, giving students instant, 24-hour paperless access.
  
  
• The printed test books are mailed directly to our teachers, not to individual students, further reducing packaging and mailing resources.
  
  
• Naturally, we reuse and recycle everything that we can.
  

Computers and Electronic Waste
Corporate computer systems waste $1 billion worth of electricity a year. We program our computers to enter sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.

We are responsible when disposing of any outdated electronics. If it can not be refurbished, it is properly disposed of.

Our Office Environment
We create a healthy office environment by using non-toxic cleaning products and brighten our office with plants that a NASA study found to remove indoor pollutants.

Teachers and Classrooms
Our teachers live in each city where we offer courses and tutoring. This eliminates air travel. The added bonus is that we are supporting your local economy! We plot the locations of tutors in correlation to the student so as to require the least amount of transportation.

Get Prepped utilizes pre-existing classroom space in colleges and hotels rather than wasting the valuable resources that are necessary to maintain facilities when there are no classes in session.
